A Creative Odyssey
I have navigated an expansive career as an artist, designer, and creative director (and too many other roles to count!).
Over these past 24 years, I’m grateful to having achieved success as a two-time bestselling game designer, founder of multiple successful studios, and contributor to numerous world-class titles.

My Path as an Artist
Having grown up in the 80s, I am among the first generation to live alongside computers and video games. One of my earliest memories is playing the Atari 2600 on our VHF TV.
During my childhood I enjoyed drawing, creating programs on an Apple 2, and later immersed myself in music by learning to play multiple instruments.
After a turbulent adolescence and struggling for years academically, I found my passion in computer graphics which propelled me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Art from Northern Illinois University.
I soon began my career as an environment artist at High Voltage Software and Midway Games, and later rose through the ranks to Lead Environment Artist at Blizzard Entertainment. I also instructed 3D Modelling and Animation at the Art Institute.
Running an Indie Studio
In 2010 I started a studio that juggled client work with original projects. During this time, I was fortunate enough to create projects for world class brands like Red Bull, Chevron, John Deere, and Wow Wee Toys.
By working nights and weekends we managed to launch “Roboto” in 2012 for iOS which earned “Editor’s Choice.” We later followed this up in 2016 with Osiris New Dawn for PC which took the #1 spot at launch.
Living My Indie Dream
Outside of art creation, I have many interests (too many!) that span reading, writing, music, fitness, and exploring various fields of science: astronomy, paleontology, geology, and archeology. I’m continually striving for personal and professional growth, and I consider myself a life student in learning entrepreneurship and the creative process.
With all that said, and as fun and fulfilling as it is to create, nothing compares to those magical moments of being a parent to two beautiful children and going on family adventures around our home in Southern California.
